AMX Keypads and Button Input Devices
AMX Residential LCD KEYPADS mark

intercoms. Now a single panel can handle all of these functions and more.
AMX keypads can be fully customized to meet your individual needs. Use
the interactive buttons to directly select functions displayed on the backlit
LCD screen, call up other menus, or display lists of CD titles or messages...or
a myriad of other tasks. Whether dimming the lights or answering the intercom,
AMX keypads provide a simple and elegant way to control your home automation
system. The PLK-DMS keypad has a large backlit LCD display and six buttons
to allow selection of menu items. In addition, there are Page Up and Page
Down buttons and one large programmable button. The PLK-DMS (or Direct
Menu Select) keypad has a built-in temperature sensor and a microphone
for intercom and telecomm use. The keypad has two RJ-45 connectors for
connecting to the AMX Residential network. These two connectors allow you
to daisy chain multiple keypads. If the keypad will be used for intercom
or telecomm purposes, the keypad must not be daisy chained to any other
keypads. There are no other connectors on the keypad. Custom menus can
be created with Landmark Designer software, allowing users to quickly and
easily access any system function.

has seven programmable buttons and a backlit LCD display. One button defaults
to a menu-select button. The menu-select button can be moved to another
button on the keypad. If you want to restrict menu access on a particular
keypad, the menu-select button can be removed entirely. The PLK-IMS has
a built-in temperature sensor and a microphone for intercom and telecomm
use. The PLK-IMS has two RJ-45 connectors for connecting to the AMX Residential
network. These two connectors allow you to daisy chain multiple keypads.
However, if the keypad is going to be used for intercom or telecomm, the
keypad must not be daisy chained to any other keypads. There are no other
connectors on the keypad. Custom menus can be created with Landmark Designer
software, allowing users to quickly and easily access any system function.
Custom engraving is available for the keypad buttons.
Some areas in the home need just a
simple touch of automation. That's why AMX created SmartButton Keypads.
Available with one or two LED buttons, (see SB2/DSB2 below) they're made
to match AMX Residential's SmartDimmer lighting controls and are fully
interactive with Landmark system functions, connecting over the AMX Residential
control network. Each programmable button can activate a home automation
function of your choice, such as raising or dim multiple lighting zones
or setting the whole house to a home or away preset mode. Anything you
want today, anything tomorrow. The PLK-SB1 is a 1-button keypad, with the
same outward appearance as the PLL-SD10 Dimmer and the PLL-SW10 Smart Switch.
PLK-SB1 keypads can be ganged together with lighting products and the button
can be custom engraved. The PLK-SB1 has two RJ-45 connectors on the back
to connect to the AMX Residential bus. The DSB1 keypad is functionally
the same as the SB1, but in Decora styling to match any other Decora devices
in a home.
